Attorney: Donald C. Tabor
Don was born to a career military family (U.S. Dept. of Defense) at Lajes Airfield, Azores, Portugal, on December 12, 1958, and throughout his formative years lived in Europe and the Middle East, graduating from General H. H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1976. Upon graduation from High School, he attended the University of Maryland, Munich Campus, Germany. After relocating to the United States, Don was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University in 1994 and followed up his education with a Law Degree (J.D.) from John Marshall Law School in 1997. Don joined Dale's law practice in 1994 as a law clerk and in 1997, upon his graduation from Law School, the law firm of Smith & Tabor was formed. In addition to his many duties and responsibilities involving the general practice of law, Don also serves as City Attorney for the Town of Martin, Georgia. Since settling in Toccoa in 1985, Don has been involved in numerous civic and professional organizations, including: Stephens County Bar Association, President; Toccoa Little League, President and Coach; Confidence United Methodist Church, Director, Board of Finance and Trustees and Director of Finance; Stephens County Middle School, Mentor; Stephens County Athetic Booster Club; and Toccoa Masonic Lodge, to name but a few. Don is currently married to Connie Tabor, his wife of 16 years and is the father of two children , Corey and Sarah.
